My Purpose Here

This little blog began as my first-ever foray into online writing. After a few months here, I moved to a wordpress-based site. Eventually, after several stops at varying networks, I landed at Motor City Bengals and the FanSided Network where I experienced unimaginable success and satisfaction.

I returned to this humble forum with the intent of utilizing it both as a way to express my non-baseball thoughts and as a way to allow my children to someday see more of the person their father is/was. Without a filter, without a censor, as honestly as possible. The thoughts expressed here may offend some, but they are my own and for that I will not apologize.

Through my writing here, I have already gained so much more than I ever thought I would. I have been able to explore the inner-workings of my own mind and examine all aspects of my relationships with those around me.

I hope my children can someday see that I am more than they know. I further hope that I'll grow enough to allow them to see that without having to read this blog.
